Kansas City Retro is owned by Nathan Walker, a Missouri business. It is operated by the current participating members of All in One Gaming. (It is hereinafter referred to as “KC Retro”)
Admissions to KC Retro are sold as Memberships. Purchase, acceptance, and use of this Membership signifies that you accept and understand the following disclaimers:
1) Admission credentials cannot be replaced if stolen, lost, or destroyed, and a credential is valid only for the day or days for which it is issued.
2) Admission credentials are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. If a credential includes a wristband, the wristband may not be removed during its period of use.
3) Reproduction of event credentials is not permitted. Each admission credential is for ONE person only.
4) Once a Membership has been redeemed for an admission credential, that admission credential may not be sold.
5) Unauthorized or unlawful resale or attempted resale of admission credentials is prohibited by law and grounds for seizure without compensation.
6) KC Retro reserves the right to revoke or refuse admission, or to eject any person, who fails to comply with the rules of the show or of the venue, and all applicable laws, without refund.
7) NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES of Membership purchases, except exchanges as provided through our system of upgrading or swapping a Membership.
7a) UPGRADING MEMBERSHIP: upgrading takes the form of emailing us and making a refund request. The email address is info@kansascityretro.com. Once the email has been sent to us we will issue a refund and you will re-buy the member that you need, using our website https://www.kansascityretro.com.
7b) SWAPPING MEMBERSHIP: Swapping a Membership refers to exchanging your Membership for a lower-priced Membership. Memberships may be swapped easily within your confirmation statement; however, the difference in price will not be refunded. For instance, if you purchase a Membership with a multi-day admission, this may be swapped for a Sunday admission. To Upgrade or Swap a Membership, open your confirmation and click on the Green Upgrade or Swap button.
8) GUEST CANCELLATION: Memberships are NOT REFUNDABLE due to cancellation of the appearance of any particular guest or combination of guests. KC Retro has a history of very few guest cancellations; however, any guest may cancel at any time due to a personal or professional conflict. We will announce any cancellations promptly on our website and in our social media. If you are attending to meet a particular guest or combination of guests, we recommend you DO NOT purchase your Membership in advance. If that guest or those guests cancel, your admission is NOT refundable. Memberships are expected to be available at the Box Office on-site throughout the event. We do not anticipate that the facility will reach capacity, which is quite large, though it could happen.
Some guests appear at KC Retro only on certain days. Schedules for guests will be posted when that information is available. Most guests will appear on Saturday and Sunday. A few may be one-day only. See guest pages for additional information and for specifics on dates of attendance. Changes will be posted to the guest pages.
9) MASK OR VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS: We do not know what COVID requirements might be in place at KC Retro. We do not know whether masks will be required, or whether vaccination will be required. We do not anticipate either being required; however, conditions could change before KC Retro, which could result in changing requirements. If this possibility concerns you, please wait to purchase your Membership and admission until you are at KC Retro. MEMBERSHIPS AND ADMISSIONS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE due to a mask requirement or vaccine requirement at KC Retro, even if that requirement is instituted AFTER your purchase.
10) ASSUMPTION OF RISK: Membership credential holder assumes all risk and danger of personal injury, including death, damage to property, and all other hazards arising from, or related in any way to, attending KC Retro, caused by negligence, gross negligence, or otherwise, and the holder releases KC Retro, its owner, employees, agents, and assigns, from any and all liabilities and/or claims resulting from such risks, danger, damage, injury, or death. For purposes of this provision, attending KC Retro is interpreted to include those areas in and around the Kansas City Convention Center, including areas outside the security perimeter for KC Retro.
11) Membership credential holder consents to the use of the holder’s image or likeness by media now known or hereafter devised, for advertising, sale, and/or other promotional purposes.
12) Membership credential holder agrees not to take photographs or video where posted as prohibited.
13) KC Retro is a zero-tolerance zone for harassment.
